Larry Finnson

Larry Finnson

Larry Finnson, and his partner Chris Emery, took Chris’ grandmother’s candy recipe, added their own determination and business savvy to the mix, and developed a multi-million dollar success story in the competitive candy industry.

Their youthful, dynamic energy and never-say-die attitude have helped them plough through near bankruptcy, nail-biting investor relations meetings and getting in with the big guys like Wal-Mart and Dairy Queen. As a result, their Krave’s Candy Company has been ranked among the Top Ten Food Companies in Canada by Food in Canada Magazine and they experienced a 1,000% increase in gross income in their first 3 yrs of business. Emery and Finnson have been lauded for their sales and marketing techniques, with Clodhoppers’ packaging makeover and promotion being featured in Profit and Marketing magazines as a marketing & packaging success story. Their successes include successfully negotiating a deal with Air Canada to offer packages of Clodhoppers as the complimentary in-flight treat. In 2003, they were featured as CNN’s Mavericks of the Morning and in Fortune’s Small Business Magazine and in 2004, named as one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies by Profit Magazine.

In 2006, Clodhoppers was acquired by Brookside Foods.

Larry Finnson’s recent venture, the 24K Water Company, made a splash in the business world with Larry as the exclusive distributor of Icelandic Glacial Water in Canada. Driven by the thrill of entrepreneurism, he knows how to open key doors in the business world and how to develop a unique brand setting his products and services apart from the competition.

Finnson’s latest endeavour is to have a whole lotta fun all while creating a highly effective media buzz. He’s bringing 24K Mobile to Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan, featuring mobile multimedia advertising vehicles.
